The CEANN COMHAIRLE announced that the Hon. J.J. Meagher, an old friend of Ireland from the Antipodes, wished to attend the proceedings for a short time.
John Meagher had emigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1863. He was nominated to the New South Wales Legislative Council in 1900.
The Hon. Gentleman was admitted to the House.
