The Dáil100 exhibition closes its year-long tour of Ireland in the Magee Campus of the University of Ulster this month.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, 11 January to Sunday, 26 January.
The official opening takes place on Monday, 20 January at 9:30am. The Provost of Ulster University, Malachy O’Neill, will open the exhibition and the event will also feature two short talks by historians Dr Eamon Phoenix and Dr Adrian Grant, setting out the local context of the 1919 election and its repercussions for the region.
Derry-Londonderry is the fourth location outside of Dublin after Galway, Cork and Belfast to host Dáil 100. The exhibition features a photo display, information stands and a photo booth that allows members of the public to take their own photograph in front of a Dáil Chamber background.
The Dáil100 exhibition is presented in association with the House of the Oireachtas Commission and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
